Privacy Policy

Your privacy, in plain terms

This page explains what information Clearwater Holidays collects, what we do with it, and what rights you have. The short version: this website collects nothing. Personal details only enter the picture if you choose to message us.

Who we are

This website, amazingmaldives.com, is operated by Clearwater Holidays, a travel agency licensed in the Republic of Maldives (licence MOT.O1.RS.TA.24.EB7190). Our address is Phase 2, Aman Udhares Tower 3, Hulhumale' 24000, Maldives. You can reach us on WhatsApp or Telegram at +960 750-7210.

What this website does not collect

This website collects nothing. There are no forms, no cookies, and no analytics — nothing about your visit is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.

The only thing this site remembers is your light or dark theme preference, which stays on your own device and is never sent to us.

If you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, travel dates, budget, and preferences. We use this only to plan and, if you decide to go ahead, arrange your holiday.

WhatsApp and Telegram are independent services with their own privacy policies, which apply to your use of those apps. Choosing to message us there is your choice, and their handling of your data is between you and them.

If you book with us

To confirm a booking we will need details such as your full name as shown in your passport, nationality, and date of birth. We share these only with the parties involved in delivering your trip — resorts and hotels, transfer providers such as seaplane and speedboat operators, and excursion organisers — and only to the extent needed for your arrangements.

Please note: the Maldives Immigration traveller declaration (IMUGA) is completed by you, the traveller. We do not submit it on your behalf.

Where Maldivian law requires it, records may be disclosed to the authorities, such as the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority or the Ministry of Tourism.

How long we keep your information

Booking, financial, and identification records are kept for at least five years, as required by Maldivian tax law. Enquiries and conversations that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as they are useful, and are deleted on request.

How we protect your information

We limit access to your details to what is needed for your arrangements, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. No method of communication or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat your details with the same care we would want for our own.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to show you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where the law allows. You may also object to how we use it. A message on WhatsApp or Telegram is enough — there is no formal process.

We handle your information in line with internationally recognised data-protection standards, because your privacy should not depend on where you happen to live.
