Kaashidhoo (Dhivehi: ކާށިދޫ) is one of the inhabited islands of Kaafu Atoll. It is located at the northern tip of Malé atoll and is the fifth biggest island in the entire Maldivian archipelago. Kaashidhoo is well known for its wealth in coconut trees.
Kaashidhoo is included in the Malé Atoll. However it is an atoll by itself geographically. For the ease of administration the island is placed under Kaafu Atoll.
|Visa requirements||All tourists from all countries are granted a free 30-day visa upon arrival. However, all visitors need to have a valid passport. If a passport expiry date falls within 30 days of arrival, tourists cannot extend their stay beyond the passport’s expiry date.|
